Built by people who got tired of app-juggling

MiraiScript is an independent tool for comic and graphic-novel creators. It keeps the script, the storyboard, the cast and the version history in one place, in sync, so the work of managing your work stops competing with the work.

Why it exists

Making a comic means writing prose, drawing panels, and holding a continuity in your head across hundreds of pages. Most people do that across a word processor, a drawing app, a folder of reference screenshots, and a naming convention like script_final_v7_FINAL.docx. The tools do not know about each other, so the author becomes the integration layer.

MiraiScript links a panel to the exact line it illustrates, resolves an @mention to a character dossier that counts its own appearances, and snapshots every meaningful change so you can branch a what-if and come back. Those are not three features bolted together. They are the same document seen three ways.

What we will not do

  • No generative AI. There is no model in this product. Your script and your art are not read for training, not sent to a model provider, and not used to generate anything. If that ever changes it will be an opt-in you actively choose, not a release note.
  • No lock-in. Documents round-trip through .docx, and storyboards export to PSD and PDF. If you stop paying, you keep full read and edit access to everything you made.
  • No dark patterns. No countdown timers, no invented scarcity, and no testimonials from people who do not exist.

How it is built

The editor is not a rich-text box. It is an OOXML-native document engine with its own layout and canvas renderer, which is why an imported .docx keeps its fonts and pagination instead of being approximated. The drawing surface is a tiled raster engine built for pressure and layers on a tablet. Both are ours, because nothing off the shelf did the job.

Who is behind it

MiraiScript is built and operated by TODO: legal entity name, an independent studio. You can reach a human at TODO: contact email.
