What counts as one project?

A project is a world, not a document. One project holds as many scripts as you like, so every chapter or episode of a series lives together in it, and each of those scripts has its own storyboard with as many canvas pages as you need. The cast, places and events you track are shared across the whole project, and so are the fonts and the timeline. Most people need one project per series, not one per chapter, which is why Starter covers 1 project: a second project is for a second, unrelated story.

Do I have to change how I work to use paid features?

No. The editor, the canvas and the way you write are identical on every plan. Paying only ever adds room: more people working with you, more of your world tracked, more storage.

Is working together live free, or paid?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the medium. Writing a script together live is free and unlimited on every plan, Starter included. Drawing on the same canvas at the same time is paid: not included on Starter, 3 seats per project on Professional, 15 on Team. Watching either kind of change land live, without editing yourself, is free everywhere, including for guests with no account.

What does a seat actually mean?

How many people can have live canvas access on one project. It is not a lifetime total, and it is not a limit on how many can draw at the same moment. It counts per project, so a second project gets its own seats, and seats are swappable: removing someone frees theirs for somebody else.

What happens if I hit my storage limit?

Accepted Answer

You can still open, edit and export everything already in your projects. Nothing is deleted and nothing locks. You just cannot add new attachments until you free up space or move up a plan.

Does version history count against my storage?

Accepted Answer

No. Autosave and restore are unlimited on every plan, however much you experiment or undo. Only the documents and sketches you attach count toward storage.

What happens if I delete a project to free up space?

It goes to the trash and stays recoverable for 30 days before it is permanently removed.

I am on Starter and go over the 1-project limit. What happens?

Accepted Answer

Nothing immediately, and you keep full read access to all of them. The next time you try to edit one, you pick which one stays fully active. The rest stay readable until you choose again or move up a plan.

I move from Professional back down to Starter. What happens to what I already made?

Accepted Answer

Everything you already have stays exactly as it is, and stays fully accessible. You keep full read access to all of it, every mention in your scripts still resolves, and nothing is deleted. What changes is what you can EDIT: past 10 cast, place and event entries in a project you choose which 10 stay editable, and the rest become read-only. You can change that choice once every 30 days on this plan. Named versions are unlimited on every plan, so nothing changes there at all.

What happens if I cancel entirely?

Writing together keeps working for everyone, on every plan, unconditionally. Drawing on your own work stays untouched. Collaborators who had live canvas access drop to read-only. If cancelling puts you over the 1 project Starter covers, the same pick-what-stays-active step applies.

What happens if a payment fails?

You get a 14-day grace period with reminders, rather than being downgraded the moment a charge does not go through.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not refund a billing period that has already started. That is why Starter is free and Professional opens with a 14-day trial: you can find out whether this fits the way you work before you pay for any of it. Because Stripe sells the subscription through Link, you can also ask Link support for a refund, which Stripe may grant in certain cases.

Is there a free trial?

Starter is free, so you can use MiraiScript without one. Professional includes a 14-day free trial, whether you pay monthly or annually. Team does not.

Who is the charge from?

Accepted Answer

Link, part of Stripe. Stripe sells MiraiScript subscriptions through Link as the merchant of record, so your card statement shows a charge beginning with LINK.COM, and your receipts, invoices and trial reminders come from Link by email. Prices on this page are in US dollars before tax: checkout adds any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live.
